What in the World?

The woman pictured in this photograph has kinky twists in her hair. Well, at least in the front of her head, she's wearing kinky twists. It seems like she decided to take some of the kinky twists out, but never finished taking the hair out in the front. I am going to flat out that this looks a hot mess. You can see her nappy/crimpy hair sticky up. It's not stylish at all. On a positive note, I really like the color of her kinky twist. The hair color goes extremely well with her skin complexion. I would actually suggest that she dye her hair that color. She should have just taken out all of her kinky twists before taking any pictures. After she takes out the remainding kinky twists, I'd advise that she get a perm as soon as posible. I'm sorry, but I have to give this style a Hair Don't!

Yank that Wig Off ASAP

The young girl in this video has a full sewn-in weave. This means that all of her hair is braided underneath. Someone took a needle and thread and sewed the weave tracks onto her braided hair. This hairstyle keeps your natural hair safe and helps it grow. Some people wouldn't have even known that this was a sew-in weave. It really looks like a wig that you could easily yank off. The hairstyle looks a little lopsided on her face. The hair color is too dark for her complexion. She need a color that's lighter. The weave she's wearing looks really fake. I wouldn't be surprised if I found out that the hair was synthetic. This cannot be human hair because it look extremely too rough. Whoever cut her weave could have done a better job. They tried to cut it in layers, but it didn't turn out the best. The cutting of her bangs see alright. I absolutely positively have to give this style a Hair Don't!

Oh No...What Were You Thinking?

The young lady pictured here in this photograph decided to walk out of the house without doing her hair. She actually went out in public and partook in many activities without any regard for her hair. On a positive note, here hair color goes extremely well with her skin complexion. It seems like she may have had a nice hairstyle going on a week or two ago, but just hasn't kept up with maintaining the style. I can tell that the humidity and even being around water has dried her hair out. All she would have to do is put a little grease in her hair and straighten it. I'd also suggest her curling her hair. If she bumped her hair under, it would look good as new! For now, I'm pretty sure you'd agree with me for giving this a Hair Don't!

Short Hair...Don't Care

The young woman in this photograph is pictured with short hair. She seems to have some type of grease or gel in her hair. I see some shiny spots throughout her hair. Her hair seems to be a little curled, but it looks like most of her curls fell or got combed out. Maybe if her hair was curled a little tighter, it would look better. Her baby hair in the front looks nice and sleek. There are so many hairstyles that can be done with short hair. The young lady could even put some of her hair up in a clip. This style would give her hair a more classy look. I'm going to have to declare this a Hair Don't!

Color Gone Bad

The young lady pictured here has her natural hair straight down, with one strip of purple weave in the back. To many, this style is different and creative. In my opinion, she should have avoided the purple weave totally. Maybe I'm just not use to seeing people with purple hair. On a positive note, the purple weave goes well with her complexion. The style of her hair is simple, yet cute. If she had the purple weave throughout her hair and not just on the bottom, it might look a little better. I was always told that "Less is Best". In this hairstyle, the purple weave in unnecessary. I am going to have to give this style a Hair Don't!

Side Pony or Just Plain Phony?

The young lady here is photographed with a side ponytail. She has her hair gelled into the weave ponytail. The weave ponytail uses combs and drawstrings to attach to her natural hair. The ponytail blends in very well with her natural hair color. In my opinion, she could have done a better job gelling her hair back into the ponytail. She may not have a perm and that is why her hair isn't as straight as the weave. All you would need is extra gel on your hair. If you wrapped your hair with a scarf for about 20 minutes, it would look just as straight as the weave ponytail. I would have to give this style a Hair Don't!

Old Micros or better yet, Bold Micros

The girl photographed in this picture has micros. The micros are not fresh looking though. They look like they've been in here hair for a good 2 months. From this picture, you can see her new growth hair. She has a medium brown color weave in her hair. It goes very well with her skin complexion. You can definitely see her black hair coming from the root of her hair. Her hair needs to be re-braided or just taken out. She is wearing wet & wavy braids. Wet and wavy braids begin to crimp when water is applied to them. They usually last for a month and a half. She kept her braids in way past that mark. This hairstyle is a Hair Don't!

Long Hair or Wrong Hair?

The young lady pictured in this photo gave me an exclusive look of here natural hair. She hasn't washed her hair in over a week. She feels that this will make her hair longer. The young lady is an athlete and sweats a lot, due to practice. She usually wears her hair in a bun, but she took the hair out for me. It seems like there are extremely tight curls throughout her hair. They actually give her hair a "dreadlock" effect. I was told that she hadn't combed her hair in a few days. When she finally does comb the tangled hair, I feel that she's going to have a hard time getting it nice and straight. Her hair is very long with the tangled dreadlock effect and when she does finally loosen the curls and straighten her hair, it'll be even longer. For now, I have to give this style a Hair Don't!

Ponytail or Ponyfail?

This is a photograph of a young lady whose hair is pulled back into a ponytail. She decided to add a braided piece of weave and clipped it to the front of her hair. The braided weave was suppose to be her bang. She has a neat ponytail. Her hair is nice, straight, and long. You can see her sleek babyhair. I just don't understand why she would add that fake bang to the front of her hair. It messed up the whole hairstyle. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the random clip thats holding her weave in place. You can also see some of the braided weave sticking out in the middle of her head. The only good thing about the braided weave is that the color blends in nicely with her hair. This hairstyle is a ponyfail. I have to declare this a Hair Don't!

Lopsided Wig

This photograph displays a young lady with a wig on. Her wig seems to be a little lopsided. The hair is cut in a short style. Short hairstyles are best in the summer, because they are easy to maintain, with less weight on your shoulders. I believe the wig is too small for her head. The color of the wig is a dirty brown. I think that the color matches her complexion perfectly. A lighter brown hair color would also be a great look for her. If she turns the wig around a little and combs it out, I think the style would look better. She could really make this wig work with some tweeks to it. For now, I'd declare this a Hair Don't!

The Fro Has Got To Go!

I want to declare this afro a Hair Don't from the start. Prior to the "fro", I had cornrowed braids in my hair and I took them out. The horrible afro was the result of taking out my braids. My hair was crimpy and nappy all at the same time. I was at home when this photograph was taken, so I really didn't care if my family saw my bad hair. I wouldn't ever go outside with this hairstyle though. Here are a few suggestions to improving the hairstye: Pull it back into a ponytail and put a head-band over the hair, Re-braid the hair and apply a weave to it, or Get a perm and have the hair straight and silky. Again, this afro hairstyle is definitely a Hair Don't!

UnbeWeavable

This photograph shows a picture of me this Summer. The hair you see is all weave. This hairstyle only requires a stocking cap, hair tracks and hair glue; which can all be purchased at Beauty Supply Stores worldwide. The weave I used was the Duby Wrap. I put the stocking cap on my head and glued the hair tracks onto the cap; starting from the bottom on up. I then added an addition weave closure to the crown of my hair cap. The problem was that the first weave I used was human hair and the hair closure was synthetic. The difference between the two is that you can curl human hair, while most synthetic hair cannot be curled. I forgot that I had two kinds of weave in my hair and curled all of it. This was not a good idea at all. The synthetic weave ended up burning a little, which completely messed the hairstyle up. I tried all I could to make the style work, and wore the weave for one day only. I'd absolutely have to give this style a "Hair Don't!"
